NOVATO IS CLOSED FOR 2011.
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
Every spring a beautiful market pops up on Grant Avenue (Downtown Novato’s main drag). The market brings the bounty of California’s warmer months – stonefruit, tomatoes, berries & squash – right into the heart of the city. Stroll down Grant Avenue to pick up your weekly groceries, enjoy live music, and grab some delicious hot food prepared by local chefs. Each year the market grows and changes, boasting an array of the Bay Area’s finest food purveyors, farmers, and ranchers. Turn Tuesday night, into your favorite week night at the Novato Farmers Market. A big thank you to the City of Novato and the Downtown Novato Business Administration!
From the Manager:
Summer has kicked off and that means the Novato Farmers Market is up in full swing. Along with our core cast of vendors such as Mami’s Crunch, Applebaum Bakery, G & S Farms and Homemade Ravioli, look for some new faces. The first local rancher to join us on Tuesday nights is Tara Firma Farms bringing in grass-fed, pasture-raised chicken, beef and pork. Mission Fish will be selling a large selection of freshly caught delicacies from the sea. This year we will even have healthy, home-made style baby food from Julie Jacobson owner and chef of “Baby Go Green Baby Food”. Every week AIM brings in a great local artist to entertain market-goers as they shop. Don’t forget to make some time to enjoy the live entertainment!
