It’s easy to see why the Grand Lake – Oakland Farmers Market is widely acclaimed as the best farmers market in the East Bay. Making the most of the cozy Splash Pad Park, this market welcomes over 44 local farmers, 30 specialty food purveyors, and a handful of local artisans. Oakland residents have made a ritual of this farmers market; anxiously awaiting Saturday morning to pick up their fruits and vegetables direct from their farmer and to enjoy lunch on the lawn followed by a quick dip in the Splash Pad fountain.

With what seems like no summer at all we welcome our fall crisp well at the Grand lake market! What better way to spend a cool morning than walking and shopping the market while sipping your cup of Bicycle coffee. Or warming up to some delicious hot food from any one of our vendors in the café.
Brent’s Christmas Trees have arrived to the Grand Lake and Lake Shore community. Brent has been providing his northern Sierra trees to the Oakland community for years. Way before the farmers market even existed. Brent has a ton of variety on hand and very friendly service. The best part is that they are local and reasonably priced.
Some of our seasonal vendors who have left or will be leaving soon: Kashiwasi farms, Lucero farms and Brentwood farms but we welcome back Arrowsmith farms with honey and lavender, Dulai with their ever popular kiwis and Chinchiolo bringing a wide range of freshly grown apples sure to spice up any pie! Since last year we also welcome some new year round farmers such as Say Hay farms with plenty of farm fresh produce as well as his delicious organic eggs, Thomas farms with one of the biggest varieties of fresh cut organic flowers that you must see. In our café area make sure to stop by and see Rozyln from Little Lady Bug, her freshly baked pies are your next big hit at the dinner table!
